Effect	A Water-element Blow skill that hits a much wider area than Fire Blow - the Rage Knight's farm skill.

Faith Knight skills

Strong Belief
	Requires: Energy 1,040, shield equipped   Cost: MP 80 / AG 25
Effect	Cast once, it stays active until death or logout. Switches the knight into Faith mode: stats convert to normal and elemental Defense more efficiently, plus a flat base Defense bonus (raised further by Strong Belief Enhancement in the master tree).

Solid Protection
	Requires: Energy 1,052, Faith mode active   Cost: MP 65 / AG 20
Effect	The Faith Knight's signature: absorbs a portion of each party member's maximum HP into own HP (scales with Agility), then takes a chance-based share of the damage party members receive (scaled by Energy, capped) - while also increasing the party's attack power.

Master tree and skill enhancement additions

Skill enhancement trees (4th class) were added for Strike of Destruction (Damage Count +2, debuffs: Deadly Poison + Freezing), Sword Blow (Splash Damage, debuffs: Deadly Poison + Bleeding) and Solid Protection (Max HP, party attack, HP conversion %, damage conversion %, party defense, shield defense).

5. Knight Shields - the mastery shield line

Added with the renewal and extended every season since. Every Knight Shield carries the unique DK option 'reduces damage taken in place of party members by shield Defense × 0.1' - it feeds Solid Protection directly, and grows with the shield's enhancement level. Requirements from the server files.

6. Faith Knight armor sets

The renewal added a second DK armor line built for the Faith build - Energy requirements instead of heavy Strength, and set options that feed Solid Protection. Four pieces: Helm, Armor, Pants, Boots.

All Faith sets require roughly Agility 114-135 and Energy 755-769 per piece.

7. Mastery Swords - the full progression

Damage and requirements from the server files. Attack speed is 40 at every tier. Since the renewal, mastery swords can be equipped with Strength OR Energy - meeting either stat is enough - and from Temple Guard tier your server adds explicit Faith Sword variants with almost no Strength requirement for pure Faith builds.

Each tier upgrades from a +11 / 16-option sword of the previous tier with that tier's Anvil (Priest James, Elbeland) plus Bless, Soul, Chaos and Creation jewels, keeping type, Luck and Excellent options.

1. Who the Summoner is

Added in Season 3, the Summoner is a mage from a closed and exclusive race whose pure, ancient bloodline carries a natural talent for sorcery. Through the Book of the Other Realm she summons and commands mythical beasts from another dimension, and with the insight of the Third Eye she reads an enemy's weakness at a glance. In play that translates to ranged magic, curses that strip the enemy's power, and debuffs that make her the natural partner of an Energy Elf in a party.

4. The Season 14 renewal - two ways to build a Summoner

Berserker - reworked

• Berserker now scales from the Summoner's Energy stat and the Curse power of the equipped Book - the higher the Curse power, the stronger the effect.
• Buff effect: Wizardry increase + Attack Speed increase. Debuff side: HP reduction and Defense reduction.
• Cast once, it stays active until the character dies or logs out.
• While Berserker is active, the Curse Summoner's skills are disabled.
• Master tree: Berserker Enhancement (extra Wizardry) and Berserker Mastery (extra Attack Speed and removes the debuff side).

Darkness - new buff

• Darkness scales from the Energy stat and the Wizardry of the equipped Stick, and raises Curse power and Defense.
• Using it switches the Summoner's stat effect to the Curse Summoner profile and activates the curse skills that Berserker disables.
• Cast once, it stays active until death or logout. Debuff side: HP reduction.
• Master tree: Darkness Enhancement (extra Curse power) and Darkness Mastery (extra Defense and removes the debuff).

After casting Berserker or Darkness, the Summoner can still receive the Elf's Attack Power Enhancement buff.

Curse skill rework

Explosion, Requiem and Pollution were removed from the Book weapon skills and became learnable from parchments. Their cast motion and cooldown were sharply reduced, and their damage-over-time effect became normal direct damage.

Weakness and Innovation changed from single-cast debuffs into skills that place a magic circle for a set time - every enemy standing on the circle takes the debuff. Through the master tree they can also reduce the target's Elemental Attack (Weakness Mastery) and Elemental Defense (Innovation Mastery).

Death Scythe - new curse skill

Death Scythe

Effect	An area curse skill that uses the Darkness buff. On first cast the scythe is summoned with an explosion of damage and then follows the Summoner, attacking with her. If Death Scythe is not used for 10 seconds it disappears; recasting summons it again.

The renewal added the mastery Book line (이계의서 - Books of the Other Realm). The Excellent Wizardry option on these Books was changed to a Curse power option at the same time. 5th tree ability cards later added upgraded versions of both renewal attack skills: Raining Arrow of Saturation and Holy Bolt of Gale.

MU Helper changes for the Elf

• Buff registration slots increased from 4 to 6.
• Heal support settings added - you can register Heal and Party Healing as trigger skills under Party Support → Auto Recovery → Trigger Skill. Only skills registered in the Skill Imprint window can be used.

4. Fairy Shields - the Support Elf shield line

Added with the renewal: shields only the Elf can wear, scaling from Energy, each with Elemental Defense Enhancement as its base Excellent option. All have the same random Excellent pool: Reflect 5% damage, Defense Success Rate +10%, Maximum Life increase, Maximum Mana increase, Damage decrease (max 2 options).

Each tier is crafted by upgrading a +11 / 16-option weapon of the previous tier with that tier's Anvil (bought from Priest James in Elbeland for Ruud) plus Bless, Soul, Chaos and Creation jewels. Bows carry the Volley quiver skill; Quivers are the off-hand with attack speed 60.

Bow attack speed is 55 and Quiver attack speed is 60 at every tier. All mastery bows and quivers share the same Excellent option pool: Excellent Damage Chance +10%, Attack (Magic) Speed +7, Life/8 and Mana/8 on kill, Attack Power per 20 levels, flat Attack Power.

The Magic Gladiator class was reworked in Season 16 Part 2-2. The class now splits into two build types: the Knight-type Magic Gladiator and the Wizard-type Magic Gladiator.

• The Wizard-type MG scales with the Energy stat and attacks with strong magic damage.

3. Master Skill Tree & Skill Enhancement Tree

Master Skill Tree changes

• The Flame Strike, Ice Enhancement and Inferno Enhancement trees were removed.
• The positions of Blood Attack Enhancement/Mastery and Gigantic Storm were changed.
• The requirement for Weapon Mastery was relaxed — the 'Whirlwind Enhancement 10p required' condition was removed.
• Enhancement/Mastery trees for the three new buff skills were added.
• Two-Handed Sword and Two-Handed Staff Enhancement/Mastery trees were improved: the Attack Power / Wizardry gained from enhancement was raised, and Mastery can now raise the Double Damage chance up to 5%.

Rune Wizard (Rune Mage) — Season 14 Renewal on Season 20 Part 2-1

The Rune Mage is a half-elf — the child of Arka, a dark wizard of the noble union, and the fairy who created the Wolf Altar. From his father he inherited powerful magic, and his fairy mother's power gives him even stronger magic attacks and offensive buffs. His body has low survivability, but he delivers massive magic damage by maximizing the Energy stat.

A Rune Wizard uses some of the Warlock's black magic together with special rune magic of his own. His exclusive skills consist of spells that directly attack enemies and skills that channel his rune energy into the target. In the Season 20 Part 2-1 renewal the class was reworked: damage formulas and master-skill links were improved so it scales better with Energy, and a new Magic Power stat was added. Damage skills and support buffs now work much better together in a party.

Main stat: Energy — it drives Magic Power and skill damage. Most builds pump Energy almost exclusively, with some Stamina/Agility for survivability.

Rune Wizard Playstyle

1) A magic-attack class that uses the Energy stat to raise magic power and strike enemy targets.
2) Casts two or more magic skills at once to hit enemies with high damage over a wide area.

The class rewards positioning and timing: it clears dense maps fast and punishes grouped enemies hard in PvP and events. Two Rune-Mage-exclusive buffs support this — Burst (temporarily raises Skill Damage at extra Mana cost) and Haste (temporarily raises Attack Speed at extra AG cost).

Alchemist — New Character, MU Online Season 20

The Alchemist is a magic-type character added in Season 20 who fights through alchemy, using crafted materials. The Alchemist wields a Wand (main weapon) and an Elixir (secondary weapon), has high defense and magic attack power, and scales its magic skill damage with the Energy stat. It also has a party-support skill that summons one extra hunting-ground monster.

The Dark Lord was rebuilt in Season 19 Part 2-1: new stats and Combat Power, reworked cloaks, the Divine Spirit and Divine Horse pet upgrades, four new or renewed skills, and the Mastery Lord Shield line. This guide covers that renewal in full, plus the Dark Lord gear added afterwards — the 5th Cape, the Apocalypse Scepter, the Ancient Lightning Lord set, and the Season 21 Imperial equipment.

The Dark Lord's 5th-tier wing item is the Cloak of Authority, added in Season 19 Part 1-3. It is crafted from a 5th Wing Relic, which is itself made from a +13 / 4-option-or-better 4th wing. 5th wings have no Luck option.

Golden Crest and Feather of Uriel drop at a low rate in Elite Zones.

3. Pet renewal - Dark Spirit & Dark Horse

Since Season 12 Part 1-2 the Dark Spirit can also be kept in the inventory and activated by right-clicking, the same way the Dark Horse works — move it out of the shield slot into the inventory and right-click it.

Excellent Damage and Double Damage are applied based on the normal damage value. In a safe zone the Dark Spirit and Divine Spirit stay beside the Dark Lord in soul form.

4. Skill renewal

Stat effects and engraved attack power were also increased, and the matching entries in the Master Skill Tree and Skill Enhancement Tree were adjusted to match.

Lord of Dignity (renamed skill)

The Critical Damage Increase skill was replaced by Lord of Dignity. Characters who already learned Critical Damage Increase can use it without acquiring anything new.
