admin Posted September 9 Posted September 9 Rage Fighter — MU Online Season 21 Guide The Rage Fighter is MU Online's bare-knuckle class. He has no shield, no wand and no bow — his weapon is the claw strapped to his fists, and his armour sets come in four pieces instead of five because the gloves slot is the weapon. Where the Dark Wizard carries 26 spells and shares most of them, the Rage Fighter carries 12 castable skills and 10 of them belong to him alone — the second most exclusive kit in the game. Everything he does, only he can do. He is also the fastest thing in MU. His attack-speed ceiling is 441; the next quickest class, the Slayer, caps at 384. Combined with 7 stat points per level, that is the whole design: a short list of unique skills thrown very, very fast. Every number below is read from the Season 21 server files and every picture is rendered from the Season 21 client models. The Dark Wizard, for contrast, has more than twice the spells but shares all but five of them. Spirit Hook and the 1,480 Vitality wall Spirit Hook is learned from the Spirit Hook Parchment, and that scroll asks for 1,480 Vitality. Across all sixteen classes only one requirement in the game is higher — the Fairy Elf's Elemental Attack Power Enhancement Orb at 1,500 Energy. Nothing else asks for Vitality anywhere near this: it is the only class whose hardest gate is a survivability stat. Reigning Cloak Defense PowUp and Attack PowUp reinforce the back slot — every class tree has a wing or cloak pair like this, and the Rage Fighter’s is tied to the Cape of Overrule line. Blood Howling is the odd one out: it is a skill in its own right rather than a modifier on an existing one, capped at 10 points with its own Strengthener behind it. Rage Fighter Claws — Every Tier Rendered The claw sits in the weapon slot, which is why a Rage Fighter set only has four armour pieces. Damage is the number that matters; from the Bloodangel Claws onwards every mastery claw runs at attack speed 35. Defense is the sum of the four at +0 with no options. Before level 380 Whatever drops. Sacred Fire and Piercing Groove are the two worth chasing — both come with Vitality requirements, which for this class is a feature rather than a tax. As with most classes the level 400 non-mastery set outperforms the first mastery set: Crimson Skull totals 232 defense against Bloodangel Fighter at 210, and it costs 422 Strength instead of 495. Bloodangel is still the one to build toward, because the mastery line is what carries you from 600 to 1,500. He can equip a few wings — Wings of Heaven, Angel and Devil, Conqueror and Power are all flagged for him — but the class ladder runs through the cloaks below, and only the cloaks are reinforced by the Reigning Cloak nodes in the master tree. Cloak Level Defense Class tier Little Warrior's Cloak 1 15 1st class Cape of Fighter 180 15 1st class Cloak of Death 290 27 1st class Cape of Overrule 400 45 3rd class Judgment Cloak 800 170 4th class Cloak of Oath 1200 175 5th class How to Play a Rage Fighter Strength is damage, Agility is attack speed and defense, Vitality is HP — and unlike almost every other class, all three are worth points. Energy is the one you can ignore beyond the small amounts Increase Block and Increase Health ask for. Seven points a level is what makes spreading them affordable. 1. Dragon Slasher melee — the default Strength first for damage, Agility second to sit at or near the 441 speed cap, then Vitality. Dragon Slasher at 200 is the heavy hitter (100 mana and 100 AG per cast, so it is not spammable), Chain Drive and Dark Side are the working attacks, and Dragon Roar is the crowd control. Master points go into Equipped Weapon Strengthener and Mastery, Increase Minimum and Maximum Attack Power, and the Killing Blow and Beast Uppercut lines first — then Chain Drive, Dark Side and Dragon Slasher strengtheners. 2. Spirit Hook / Vitality build Built around getting to 1,480 Vitality for the Spirit Hook Parchment. It is a long detour and it costs you damage on the way, but the payoff is a class that hits at 441 speed with a health pool no other attacker carries. Take Increase Health and Increase Block early, and use Steel Armor and Vengeance in the passive box. 3. Dark Phoenix Shot ranged build Dark Phoenix Shot needs 987 Agility and reaches 7 squares for 650 base damage — the only ranged attack the class has, and by far its biggest single number. Pair it with the Enhance Phoenix Shot and Phoenix Shot Mastery nodes. It does not replace melee, but it opens fights and finishes runners. Frequently Asked Questions What stats does a Rage Fighter need? All of them except Energy. Strength for damage, Agility for attack speed and defense, Vitality for HP. Seven stat points per level is what makes that spread work — most classes only get five. Can a Rage Fighter use a shield? No. Not one shield in the game is flagged for the Rage Fighter. The claw occupies the weapon slot and the off-hand stays empty, which is why his master tree spends so much on defense success rate and Steel Armor. Why do Rage Fighter sets only have four pieces? Because the gloves slot is the weapon. The claw is worn there, so a Rage Fighter set is helm, armour, pants and boots — one fewer piece than every other class, and one fewer set of options and sockets with it. What is the best Rage Fighter skill? Dragon Slasher at level 200 for raw damage, but it costs 100 mana and 100 AG a cast. Chain Drive and Dark Side do the day-to-day work, and Dark Phoenix Shot at 160 is the only thing he can hit from range with. Is the Rage Fighter really the fastest class? Yes — his attack-speed ceiling is 441 in CalcCharacter.ini. The Slayer is next at 384, then the Magic Gladiator at 351. No other class is close. Is Spirit Hook worth 1,480 Vitality? Only if you are committed to the build. It is the second steepest requirement in MU Online behind the Fairy Elf's 1,500 Energy orb, and the only one in the game that asks for Vitality. Most Rage Fighters skip it and put the points into Strength and Agility instead. Which cloak should a Rage Fighter use? Cape of Fighter at 180, Cloak of Death at 290, Cape of Overrule at 400, Judgment Cloak at 800 and Cloak of Oath at 1,200. The Reigning Cloak nodes in the master tree reinforce this line, so a cloak is generally better than the wings he can technically equip. What is the best Rage Fighter claw? Imperial Claw at level 1,600, 827–847 damage. Before it, the Temple Guard Claw at 1,500 does 776–796 — a bigger jump than the one from Apocalypse to Lightning. Should I rush the first mastery set? Crimson Skull, the non-mastery level 400 set, beats Bloodangel Fighter on raw defense (232 to 210) and asks for less Strength. Wear Crimson Skull while you gather the Bloodangel pieces — the mastery line is what takes you past 600. How big is the Rage Fighter master tree? 61 nodes as the Fist Master — one of the smaller trees, which fits a class with twelve skills. The 4th tree at level 800 adds another 129 nodes.
