Kalima rendered in 3D from the MU Online Season 21 client

Kalima 1–7 — MU Online Map Guide

Kalima is not seven maps. It is one map file loaded seven times, each copy filled with the same eight monsters at a higher tier. Walk into Kalima 1 and you meet Aegis at level 17 with 440 HP; walk into Kalima 7 and the same Aegis stands there at level 111 with 182,000 HP, in exactly the same spot on exactly the same floor.

That is what makes Kalima worth knowing properly: learn the layout once and you have learned all seven. This page covers the whole ladder in one place — the entry requirement for each tier, every monster with the stats the server actually uses, the shared spawn layout, and what each tier drops.

Everything below is read from the MuEurope server files — real coordinates, levels, HP and drop tables from play.muonline.eu, not generic wiki data.

The Seven Kalimas

Each tier is its own map number with its own level gate. The jump from Kalima 1 to Kalima 2 is the steepest gate in the chain — level 40 to level 131.

Tier Map number Level to enter Monster levels Monsters on the map Illusion of Kundun
Kalima 1 24 40 17 – 52 61 level 52 · 3,000 HP
Kalima 2 25 131 32 – 65 61 level 65 · 6,000 HP
Kalima 3 26 181 46 – 81 61 level 81 · 14,000 HP
Kalima 4 27 231 62 – 100 61 level 100 · 50,000 HP
Kalima 5 28 281 79 – 117 61 level 117 · 100,000 HP
Kalima 6 29 331 95 – 140 67 level 140 · 140,000 HP
Kalima 7 36 350 111 – 147 66 level 147 · 150,000,000 HP

How to Get Into Kalima

There is no gate to Kalima on any map and no /move command for it. The only way in is the Kalima gate that Werewolf Quarrel in Devias opens for you, and he wants a complete set of the pieces Kundun's servants drop:

What you need Where it comes from
Devil's Invitation or Lost Map Dropped by monsters across the mid-game maps.
5× Symbol of Kundun Dropped in pieces — the five fragments stack into one symbol.

Hand them over and a gate appears in Devias. On this server it stays open for 60 seconds (Kalima → GateAppearanceTime), so be standing on it when you turn the quest in.

One rule catches people out: switching channel while inside Kalima moves you to Devias (KalimaLeaveMode = 1). It exists to stop players hopping channels to re-farm the same Kundun without spending another invitation. If you change channel, you have paid for a new ticket.

Every tier drops you at the same place — the arrival area at (10,16) to (17,22) in the north-west corner of the floor.

Monsters, Kalima by Kalima

The same eight creatures in every tier, re-statted. Count is how many are alive at once on the whole floor.

Spawn Layout — the Same Floor Seven Times

Kalima 1 to Kalima 5 use identical spawn coordinates — every monster stands on the same tile in all five. The table below is that shared layout, read from Kalima 1.

Monster Spawn points Scattered across
Aegis 11 (28,9) → (60,75)
Rogue Centurion 10 (67,6) → (109,22)
Blood Soldier 7 (108,9) → (121,44)
Death Angel 9 (105,50) → (121,95)
Necron 8 (74,76) → (118,106)
Death Centurion 5 (57,71) → (87,90)
Schriker 10 (29,50) → (53,109)
Illusion of Kundun 1 (26,76)

Read it as four quarters. Aegis and Rogue Centurion line the northern wall from x=28 to x=109. Blood Soldier holds the north-east column above y=44. Death Angel takes the eastern side, Necron the south-east, Death Centurion the south-centre and Schriker the whole western half. Illusion of Kundun stands alone at (26,76) in the west.

Two tiers break the pattern. Kalima 6 adds six extra Schriker spawns (16 instead of 10) and is the only tier with an NPC on the floor — Priestess Veina at (10,28), right by the arrival point. Kalima 7 carries fifteen Schrikers and moves Kundun himself to (23,70).

Kalima Drops

Kalima's gear tables are ordinary for the level band — what makes the map worth farming is the skill items. Orbs and beads in the lower tiers, scrolls and crystals in the upper ones, and they only come from here in any quantity. Anything shown in grey after the dash is a ring or a jewel rather than a skill item — note the Jewel of Guardian in Kalima 7.

Every monster also rolls the server-wide drop table on top of this, so jewels and event items can come from anything in Kalima.

Hunting Notes

Kalima 1 is a level 40 map with a level 52 boss

Aegis starts at level 17 with 440 HP and the floor tops out at Schriker, level 40 with 1,800 HP. Then Illusion of Kundun sits at level 52 with 3,000 HP in the west corner. A level 40 character can clear the floor and still lose to the boss — bring a party or bring levels.

The gate levels are not evenly spaced

Kalima 1 opens at 40 and Kalima 2 at 131. That is the wall. After it the steps are regular — 181, 231, 281, 331 — and then Kalima 7 needs only 350, barely more than Kalima 6. The last tier is the cheapest jump in the chain and by far the biggest difficulty jump.

Schriker is the one that kills you

It is the highest ordinary monster in every tier and the most numerous of the tough ones — ten per floor, sixteen in Kalima 6, fifteen in Kalima 7 — and it holds the entire western half where Kundun spawns. You cannot reach the boss without walking through Schrikers.

Kalima 7 is a different game

Necron, Death Centurion and Schriker all cross 1,000,000 HP in tier 7, and Illusion of Kundun is level 147 with 150,000,000 HP and 2,000–2,500 damage. Nothing else in the Kalima chain is close. Treat it as a raid, not a farm.

Do not change channel

Switching channel inside Kalima drops you in Devias and costs you the run. If you need to relog, you need a new invitation.
