Aida — MU Online Map Guide

Aida is really two maps sharing one file. Walk in through the Noria gate at level 150 and you land in the north among Death Trees and Forest Orcs at level 72. Warp in with /move aida2 at level 380 and you land at (186,173) in the south, where the Bloody tier lives — the same four creatures forty levels higher and with ten times the health.

It is also the busiest junction in the mid-game. Five gates leave Aida, and three of them open on content in the seven-hundreds and above.

Hunting Notes

The north is the level 72–84 half

Death Tree sits in three small boxes along the top edge between (122,24) and (192,24). Forest Orc runs the north-east diagonal from (223,11) down to (165,84). Death Rider is the biggest population on the map at 84 spawns and fills the entire eastern side from (231,32) to (162,169). Blue Golem takes the centre-west band around x=87 to x=152.

The Bloody tier is a wall, not a step

Bloody Orc (level 114), Bloody Death Rider (115), Bloody Golem (117) and Bloody Witch Queen (120) carry 217,000 to 288,000 HP — roughly ten times the ordinary Aida monsters. They hold the south-east corner, the south-centre and the whole western edge. If you came in at level 150 through Noria, stay north of y=180 and east of x=90.

Gigas Golem is six monsters on one tile

Level 94 with 50,000 HP and 750–850 damage — harder-hitting than anything else in its level band, including the level 98 Hell Maine. All six spawn at (215,205), on the way into the Bloody ground.

Hell Maine is a slow hunt

Seven of them, level 98 with 80,000 HP, scattered between (85,90) and (111,140) in the western pocket, and the respawn timer is 150 seconds — fifteen times longer than the rest of the map.

Five doors out

Noria at (74,9), Karutan 1 at (237,167) from level 280, Old Kethotum at (81,17) from 700, Ashy Aida at (115,112) from 1,150 and Blaze Kethotum at (211,237) from 1,200. Ashy Aida is this map re-skinned for the end game, and its door is right in the middle of the floor.
