admin
MU Online Season 21 Part 2-3 Update — Full Patch Notes The Season 21 Part 2-3 update is one of the largest content patches of the season. It introduces a brand-new endgame hunting zone, a new 8th Guardian, a second tier of Legendary Equipment for the Crusader class, a new earring line, a higher level ceiling, and a foundational rework of how character combat is calculated. Below is a complete, detailed breakdown of everything that changed, based on the actual server data files. New Hunting Map: Raklion of Oblivion (Map 146) The headline feature of this update is Raklion of Oblivion, a new high-level hunting map added as map number 146. It is the toughest open-world grinding zone in Season 21 to date and is built for max-level characters. Access requirement: Level 1650+ to warp in (entry fee 50,000 zen), making it strictly an endgame farming destination. New monsters (Level 1100): Giant Mammoth of Oblivion, Giant of Oblivion, and Iron Knight of Oblivion, each with roughly 9,000,000+ HP. New Elite monsters (Level 1210): (Elite) Giant Mammoth of Oblivion, (Elite) Giant of Oblivion, and (Elite) Iron Knight of Oblivion — tougher variants with debuff immunity, higher critical/excellent damage resistance, and increased Pentagram attack rates. Elemental spawns: Monsters spawn tagged with specific Pentagram elements (Water, Darkness, and others), so bringing the right Errtel/elemental setup directly impacts your farming efficiency. Dedicated drop table: Raklion of Oblivion has its own map-specific loot bag, so the rewards are tuned to the zone rather than shared with older maps. Raklion & Aquilas Temple Elite Zones Alongside the new map, the existing Raklion (Map 57) and Aquilas Temple (Map 145) terrains received Elite Zone updates. These reworked high-density areas give experienced players tougher spawns and better reward density, keeping older endgame maps relevant next to the new Oblivion content. New 8th Guardian: Rhino and Rhino (Rare) A new Guardian pet joins the roster: the Rhino, added as the 8th Guardian (Guardian Number 8), with both a standard Rhino and a premium Rhino (Rare) version. The Rhino comes with its own five-option guardian attribute table and multiple option-set combinations, so its bonuses can roll across a range of offensive and defensive stats. New supporting items were added to summon and manage it, including the Seal of Rhino (plus related seals such as Seal of Leviathan and Seal of Shining Tail). The Rhino gives players a fresh Guardian progression target and a new source of combat power at the top end of the game. 2nd Legendary Equipment for the Crusader Class The Crusader receives its second tier of Legendary Equipment, dramatically extending the class's endgame gearing path with new Sets, Hammers, and Shields spanning mastery grades all the way up to level 1500 requirements. New Crusader Legendary gear includes: Imperial Crusader Set — Armor, Helmet, Gloves, Pants, Boots, and Shield (a complete new legendary armor set). Imperial Hammer — a new legendary Crusader weapon. Crusader Shield progression extending through Blood Angel, Dark Angel, Holy Angel, Soul, Blue Eye, Silver Heart, Manticore, Brilliant, Apocalypse, and Lightning tiers — scaling in defense and successful-blocking rate up to level-1500 requirements. Matching Legendary Set Options were registered so the new pieces grant proper set bonuses when equipped together. A parallel new Magic Staff / Mage Shield legendary line (Blood Angel through Lightning) was also added, supporting the class renewal work described below. New Earring: Earring of Compassion (Benevolence) A new earring line — the Earring of Compassion (internally the "Benevolence" earring) — was added as a new earring edition, with left and right variants plus a "Frame of Benevolence" crafting component. Earring of Compassion option pool includes: Max Life and Max Mana increase Skill Damage increase Excellent Damage and Critical Damage probability increase AG (Ability Gauge) auto-recovery increase Attack Power / Wizardry increase Attack Speed increase Attack Power and Critical Damage Power increase Ignore enemy defence Overall Damage increase This gives players a new best-in-slot earring target with a flexible, high-value option roll. Increased Maximum Level (Up to 1800) and Updated Season Rewards The level ceiling has been raised. The maximum Master Level was increased from 1350 to 1400, pushing the total character level cap to 1800 (400 base + 1400 master). This gives long-term players hundreds of new levels of progression, which pairs naturally with the level-1650 Raklion of Oblivion requirement. Season Pass rewards were also refreshed, with the reward calendar extended through many new pass periods running into late 2026 — so seasonal reward tracks continue uninterrupted for players who log in regularly. Character Renewal for Selected Classes (Elf, Magic Gladiator, Illusion Knight) Three classes received a Character Renewal pass rebalancing their kits: the Elf (Fairy Elf), Magic Gladiator, and Illusion Knight. Their skill trees, skill requirements, and character calculation logic were reworked to modernize how these classes perform, tighten their identities, and bring them in line with the new combat systems introduced this patch. Combat Power System and Class-Based Attack Types (Gale / Chaos / Illusion) This update introduces a new Combat Power system — a formalized formula for translating a character's gear and stats into a combat power rating. New Combat Power base and adjustment formulas were added for both low-level (under +11) and high-level (+11 and above) items. Alongside it, class-based attack types were introduced, including Gale (Elf), Chaos (Magic Gladiator), and Illusion (Illusion Knight) attack profiles — for example, Elf "Gale Attack Power" and "Illusion Blade" mechanics — giving the renewed classes distinct damage identities. Item Stat Requirement System Simplification The item stat requirement system has been simplified so that requirements no longer scale with item level. Previously an item's strength/agility requirements could climb as you upgraded it; now the requirement is fixed, making gear planning far more predictable. Many item requirement values were adjusted as part of this cleanup. Socket Item Enhancement Rate Adjustments (Chaos Combination Update) The Chaos Combination system for Socket Items was updated with more forgiving success rates at higher item levels. Socket enhancement rates were increased across the board — for example, the +10 through +15 socket combination rates were each raised by roughly 10 percentage points (e.g., +10/+11 from 40% to 50%, +14/+15 from 30% to 40%). Socket upgrade combination definitions were also cleaned up for consistency. Cry Wolf Event Renewal and Boss Battle Together Monster Attributes The Cry Wolf event received a renewal: A new weekly elemental rotation was added — event monsters now spawn with a specific Pentagram element that changes based on the week of the year (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, or Darkness), adding variety and rewarding players who prepare the right elemental counters. Event scheduling was updated and boss AI timers were tightened (faster AI change and Balgass turn-up timing) for a more dynamic fight. Related Boss Battle Together event monster attributes were also updated to align with the new elemental system.
