Click the Artifact button in the Inventory UI window to open the UI window. The option and its base value are locked at creation — if the roll is bad, make a new artifact instead of enhancing it. Disassemble unwanted artifacts into Enchantment Stones — you will need a lot of them for +15 and grade upgrades. Stones stack up to 255 — hoard them before pushing past +10, when success rates drop to 80% and below.
